Alder Isle is my current development project. I’m working with a small team to bring this delightful world to life. The Isle is a place where weird creatures and crazy critters fit right in, and its wide open to be explored by best friends Bigi and Lilun!
Our student short film, Wide Awake, was developed and animated over three months with a team of seven. I created the story, characters, and world of Wide Awake, which are the basis for Alder Isle.
Above you’ll see the comic book in progress, which will detail Bigi and Lilun’s first adventures. The animation and the comic as well as our collective development work got its first debut In Merlino Gallery at CSULB in February of 2022.
